De Fanged my Vypyr

Had my Vypyr 15 amp for years. Out of the blue I read about “de-fanging” them (cosmetically).
Was intrigued. Simply job, just remove 4 screws from the needlessly huge lousy material plastic band with logo under the knobs.
It’s Great! Looks more vintage like and silly plastic blob can get stored or thrown away.
I also re-located the “Peavey” logo down low and started two drill holes and then hand screwed it in with the original screws that held the Peavey badge.

I bought this Solid State amp years ago after a seller of my 2004 Epi Goth Explorer demo-ed the guitar on a Peavey Vypyr 15 amp. I was blown away by the utterly authentic distortion he had screaming out of that guitar (It also was modified with Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck and Seymour Duncan custom shop El Diablo super high output bridge pickups).

I went on a quest to find one, and this little Peavey became my very first real amp.
