Horrible shit little guitar. Thing was as awful as can get. Always out of tune, constantly snapping strings. Shit action.
\nAppropriately these photos are from a long time ago – in the 80s when I got this complete turd.
\nWas all I felt I could afford which really limited me (then).<\/p>\n

Thank goodness for the internets!!!!!! And information and more buying options. sheesh.
\nthis ruined me for playing guitar and I gave up with this ugly lump with cheap amp that sounded horrible.

\nNo country of origin on the junk wood.

\nit’s called global because they were re-branded.
\nit’s a 70’s tiesco.
\nGlobal\u00a0409B\u00a01970s 1 pickup\u00a0Guitar\u00a0Kawai Teisco.<\/p>\n

EDIT (2021):
\nI have started to brutalize this guitar in decades of delayed revenge… I stole the crappy bridge off of it and placed it over cardboard on my hollow body Hi-Lo guitar which was missing it’s floating bridge. Just to see if I strung a few strings on it if it buzzes or if I can get decent action… YES!!!!
\nAnyway, took the control cover off and the pickups and saw a wire to nowhere. I think I also stole it’s 1\/4″ jack for the Hi-Lo as that was also missing.
\nThe damn thing is plywood – completely visible in the pickup cavity which is poorly routed as well. Junk.<\/p>\n

Found this ad 1981 dated Montgomery Wards online too this year about this stinker.
\nNotice the actually good quality guitars don’t cost THAT much more… Sad, eh? Matsumoku Japan built Cardinal series next to it – AND a neck thru!!
\nUs collectors now would choke on that price for a new or even beat up version of that today.
