Very strange acquisition tale on this one. I got an alert emailed to me and responded within 17 minutes I think it was to a phone number. I think I have a 1.5 hour drive out of state coming up and find out seller is in my state! And only about 4-5 towns aways. I stuff cash, myself and my lunch into my car and race down the road&#8230;<br \/>\n(Gotta beat anyone to this deal)<\/p>\n<p>Turns out I realize almost immediately it&#8217;s not what was posted &#8211; A Gibson made in Bozeman MT. I Know right away. I also suspect it IS in fact an Epiphone MIK variant. But can&#8217;t be sure. All branding is gone. Seller doesn&#8217;t want me to take things apart &#8211; not even the truss rod cover (!)<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I get it for a crazy deal. And after getting it home and tightening up the totally slack truss rod the guitar suddenly has a nice straight neck and little buzz!<\/p>\n<p>Although a little thinner neck than I prefer &#8211; it&#8217;s the Epi &#8216;Slim taper&#8217; D neck, this guitar slowly becomes my #1 player at my regular place I reside at. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Got this beauty.
