\n25.5\u201d scale length – longer Fender style which I really enjoy for a change from all my explorers. It’s a different shape than the FXD series which I don’t find as attractive.<\/p>\n

Very resonant and a great player.
\nIt has the Tokai proprietary \u201cAyer\u2019s Rock II\u201d double locking tremolo system. <\/p>\n

It has a pretty interesting neck. Pretty thick but shaved shoulders. Described as a C neck or thick C neck. It\u2019s not a baseball bat super thick wide neck. I do like it. <\/p>\n

When I got it – the guitar kept going out of tune. In fact the fine tuners couldn\u2019t even tune it. I had to unlock the nut side and re tune but it kept pulling the tremolo and the guitar out of tune. And kept jacking up the action higher and higher. I was pretty desperate to play this immediately as this was my guitar playing strategy while working away for 10+ days in New York City. <\/p>\n

So I scrounged around and blocked the tremolo with two plastic bottle caps. Then did a full setup and got some decent action out of it and it stays beautifully in tune now. The fine tuners are nice once you\u2019ve roughed in the main tuners to just a little flat on tuning, and sharpen the strings to tune with fine tuners after locking the neck side. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s great fun. Super 80s hair metal dayze gone feeling. It\u2019s heavier than expected though not exactly heavy. I do really Like the bevel cut body. The headstock is pretty cool as well. Also bevel cut and pointy and unique. And of course I like the white. The Cort Effector has to go (was already on the chopping block)<\/p>\n

A fun rocker I enjoyed all week after work and a great addition to my collection. <\/p>\n
