Many of this photographs were produced with a vintage Russian lens to accentuate the out of focus bokeh quality of imagery. When using this setup, it’s not about clinical sharpness, but warmth, depth, soul and highly artistic images.
That Camera setup utilized exclusively natural light – no flash (even indoors at night). One of our other photo rigs had a nice soft diffuser flash. You can see the different results below.
