Bone is a tough pain in neck to work with.

I started with likely a cow bone. Was found in Cambridge yard by the g.f.
Although clean and white, I boiled it for about 40 minutes or so.
Then let it sit in the sun for several weeks.

Chopped into it with a hacksaw. A lot of sawing on that.
Then alternated between a coarse and fine metal file.
