Had a great gig at the gorgeous Mount Washington Hotel. A grand hotel over 100 years old and a true survivor – one of the last grand hotels in New Hampshire and the north.
I filmed for TV series years ago “Taste for Adventure” at another NH grand hotel: The Balsams in Dixville Notch. That was terrific too, and I always wanted to go back there, but the Balsams shuttered not long after my stay there in 2008.
While on that shoot, we stopped very briefly in the Mt. Washington Hotel. The view of Mt. Washington is spectacular. I always wanted to return.
Being asked to engineer there and stay on property was a bit of a dream come true.
Great shoot, good people, great location.
The event was also great!!! “US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame” induction for 2019, and 2020.
This was great, and a guy I had filmed with years back, Seth Westcott, was there and inducted. He gave a truly great and inspiring speech as did a skiing race inductee from NH.
