Pretty cool trip to Cincinnati. As a complete surprise bonus, I happened to get takeout dinner and brought it riverside. A fantastic fireworks display erupted on the far bank side over the city on July 1st for the fourth celebration.

On a lark I went for a walk the first day after work… to discover this gorgeous bridge that was built just around the civil war! It was built just before the Brooklyn Bridge by the same architect and was considered the model to follow in New York.

I was so charmed by this I walked from Ohio to Kentucky and back over this bridge every day after work on this trip.
