Two and half days in Bromont Quebec. For GE Aerospatial as is written in French.
Drove up there after UNH graduations on the way to Rochester Vermont.
Total drive from middle of Vermont to Bromont was just under 3 hours.

Final work day we met at 5am, working by 5:20am and were, the best part, done by 11:40am!
I raced to Canada post office to mail back some license plates and then climbed Mt. Bromont right from my hotel at the charming Chateau Bromont.

After 84F hike in the sun I took a quick dip in the pool, collected my Arbor travel guitar from storage and zipped to the US border and on to Jay Peak.

Figured the drive back was so close to Jay – about 11 miles – it was worth trying to bag the summit as well. Solo hike, spent about 2.5 hours all in with leisurely time at the summit.

Gorgeous views at the summit, just spectacular. Totally worth the hot black flies hike.
I remembered this very view from almost 27 years ago as soon as I saw it again.
