This film I go for it. All in on the 16mm film format. Very expensive but amazing look, feel, texture and colors. Blows away any video format on the market by a long shot.
I shoot heavily on Fuji 64D film as I get a sizable price break from Kodak Eastman 100 film.
I also love the blues that Fuji film makes.
We shoot many times at A.S.I. which is at Donner Summit overlooking the lake not too far from Snowbowl. Jason Wordal doing his signature move the ‘underflip’ makes the cover flipping off the famous ASI quarter pipe.
I also shoot a lot this season at Carson Pass south near Kirkwood. I’m down there a lot with Ryan Kronenburg and Jason Wordal hiking the pass and shooting ‘Brontosaurus’ hit. Tyler Lepore is featured on the back cover spinning off this giant kicker.
The name of this film was dreamed up by Jeycob Carlson who is featured in this film. Very funny guy, he also does sleight of hand card trick (also shown in the film).
