Dec 10th, 2012 AGM battery arrives.

Nov 30th, 2012 Fuel pump tests ok. Checked for spark. Lean.

Worked on bike 2pm – 10pm. Checked fuel pump w C helping. Used wall as barrier. Had to hook up external 12VDC source to removed pump and try pumping fuel from one jar to another. Yikes! Anyway it works just fine – so not the issue. (Start suspecting fuel relay?)
All 4 plugs show spark (I assume that checks out good – little, oh so little, do I know… See freaking Feb 2013). Checked each plug – they all look lean. My first time ever checking anything for spark correctly. C fired off the starter push button each plug for me too!

Nov 28th, 2012 Clean carbs again :(

They’re clean pretty much anyway. Just a little buildup in float bowls nothing to write about.

Nov 15th, 2012 Started only with starter spray.

Ran bike 12-15 minutes total with about 3 re-starts. Can only run with choke on full (twiddling it to start), any throttle or lowering of choke even warm instantly kills motor. mp3 audios made.

Nov 8th, 2012 Won’t start. Stranded at midnight.

“repair done” – “fouled plugs”
And yet, Magic won’t start and I’m stranded at midnight.

Nov 8th, 2012 Bicycle downhill to work on bike. Won’t start.

Stranded at midnight. Worked for hours. no start.

Nov 1st, 2012 Removed gas tank (again). “Almost started” today

Oct 29th, 2012 The troubles begin… Green Magic won’t start

Sep 24th, 2012 3rd re-diagnose charging system.

All charging system checks out. 14.8 VAC @ 4K rpm. Except ohm Ω stator wires.

Sep 20th, 2012 Fixed throttle cable adjustment.

Less than 1 hr for whole job. Test and cut connectors at R/R.
I popped two of the pins out of the connector and chopped out parts of two crispy fried wires to the regulator unit.

Drive to Arrow Glass, Emeryville. Stranded in Emeryville – dead batt again A guy on a R6 stopped and gave me a ride the whole way to glass co. so I could buy glass for TelePrompTer just before they closed.
Stashed in backpack and walked back the entire way from Albany through entire Emeryville back to Green Magic. Frantic calls go nowhere. I bump start bike on a whim and am able to just barely wheeze it home before it’s totally dead again.
Damn battery problem isn’t fixed.
